What Is Voice Broadcasting?
Voice broadcasting aka voice blast or automated telemarketing is an advancement in telecommunications technology that sends out a human voice message to thousands of recipients in a very short span of time. This technology is often used for political campaigns, surveys, religious activities, community alerts and notifications or in businesses.
Voice broadcasting systems can manage phone lists and instructs the phone controller to dial a number. If the call is answered (either by an answering machine or a live person), a pre-recorded phone message is played called Voice delivery campaign. It can also be set so that a person is given the option to press a number to get more information or to be connected to you and another number for them to be removed from the calling list and is called Press 1 campaign. If the number is detected to be no answer, bad number or busy signal, the system can make several attempts to redial these numbers until the time to stop is reached.
Voice broadcasting is very useful to many communities and private business organization. Campaigns can run on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Lists can be managed so that those who do not wish to be called are saved in the do not call internal data. Once their numbers are entered in the internal DNC data they will not be called again.
